On Ontario's Ultra-Low Overnight plan, a battery fills up overnight at the lowest rate and runs your home during the weekday 4–9 p.m. peak, when grid power costs about ten times more. With solar, it also stores your surplus for the evening.
Rates are set by the Ontario Energy Board and change each November. We use current rates in your proposal.
