Frequently Asked Questions
How much can I get back on solar in Ontario?
The Home Renovation Savings Program pays 30% of eligible solar and battery costs, up to $10,000, for load-displacement systems. A free home energy assessment is part of the process.
Can I use net metering and the HRSP rebate together?
No. HRSP systems must be sized for load displacement and cannot export. We can design for either path and show both side by side.
Do panels work in Ontario winters?
Yes. Panels produce well in cold, clear weather, and snow slides off the dark glass. Output is lower in December and January and peaks from May to August.
What happens in a power outage?
Grid-tied solar shuts off for line-worker safety. A home battery keeps your essentials running.
Do you repair systems you didn't install?
Yes. We service, repair and replace panels and components on existing systems, including monitoring app issues.
Which brands do you install?
LONGi, Canadian Solar, Enphase, SolarEdge, Growatt, Solis, APsmart and Tesla Powerwall, chosen for your roof, usage and budget.
